Are Citizens & Expats Afraid Of Losing Their Jobs?

One of the main goals of the nation's future vision is to lower the unemployment rate and create more job opportunities. The aim is also to generate jobs in the private sector. What people are afraid of now is that many citizens might lose their jobs in the private sector. Many companies revealed their intentions to lay off employees, especially contracting companies that have projects linked with the government and many have already started layoffs.

Because of the new budget and economic conditions things are getting more questionable for many of the citizens, and specially for expats. Many expats already quit their jobs and left for their home countries after final exit. On the other hand stock market has also slowed down, people are spending less, with un-explainable dents on their savings.
With Sales and Offers on almost all of the stores & malls, people only seem to be doing window shopping. Also followed by Eid-ul-Azha, these malls, stores & souqs didn’t hit expected sales as it used to be in earlier years. There is an urgent need to spread the word of comfort in the private sector. We need quick steps to rehabilitate the private sector to facilitate employment opportunities for the citizens.
