It does not matter how many years you stay in the Kingdom as an expatriate. It is temporary, at the end you have to take a final exit.
Final exit process is to be done by your employer. It is important to keep in mind the notice period you are going to serve with your organization. As per the policy of most of the organizations, the notice period is of 30 days.
Before processing the final exit visa, you need to ensure the following is done;
- Your family, that was living in KSA as your dependent is sent back to the home country.
- The amount you had in your bank is all withdrawn since after the final exit, your bank accounts are frozen.
- If you live in a rented house, make sure to send a notice to the landlord 30 days prior. If the contract remains for the new few months, introduce another tenant to the landlord and take your paid amount from the new tenant to avoid the house rent loss.
- Clear all utility bills.
- Deactivate all credit cards, ensure the banks have deactivated them.
- Clear all traffic fines. Cross check the traffic fines from the MOI website.
- If you own a car, sell it. Rest of the home appliances can be sent to your home country using different cargo services.
- If you are planning to migrate to the West or Europe, take a police clearance certificate.
