Saudi
Arabia is set to bring in a fleet of new patrol cars with the latest new
technology, which will assist the police in their everyday patrolling on
the streets to identify people by their number
plates and fingerprints.
According
to a police officer, the new smart cars are equipped with state-of-the-art
technology to identify the owner of a car by his number plates &
fingerprints. Officers can pass on information to their control room for advice
& checks. The cars has been given a classic black & white touch
which resembles most of the American police cars.
This fleet will soon be launched
by interior minister, Crown Prince Mohammed
Bin Naif, who is also the second deputy premier of Saudi Arabia.
