1. King Fahd Fountain: This is probably the main ‘touristy’ thing in Jeddah. As in it sprays the water the highest, up to 260mtrs (850ft)! The fountain was built in the 1980's and is listed in Guinness World Records as the highest water fountain in the world. The salt-water fountain was donated to the City of Jeddah by the late King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz. It is located just off the coast off Falastin Street in the centre of Jeddah and only comes on at dusk and runs during the night.

2. Beaches: Jeddah's main attraction is Corniche Area, which includes hotels, walk ways, mosques, parks, sea food restaurants, where families are mostly gathered at weekends. Famous beaches in Jeddah includes Obhur & Al Marjan Resort, having villas & huts available on rents.
3. Clubs: A wide number of clubs & restaurants are in Jeddah, offering various facilities, from dine ins to gym areas, swimming pools and much more. The most famous club in Jeddah is Red Sea Marina.
4. Boat trips & Fishing: Some beaches and clubs offer boat trips for sightseeing and people come in for fishing, to grab their favorite fresh sea food. Special boat trips are arranged on Eid, vacations, new year & long weekends.
5. Restaurants: There is a long list of restaurants existing in the city of Jeddah. As Jeddah is the city where other than Saudis & Arabs, diverse nationalities from all over the world are also living so you will find all sort of food, like from Arab cuisine to Indian, Pakistani, Chinese, Italian, Turkish, continental, sea food, coffee shops, cafes, local & international fast food chains all are present in Jeddah. You name it, Jeddah has it!
6. Fakieh Aquarium: Searching for some indoor activities? What about a virtual dive? A visit to the Fakieh Aquarium will make you go through a totally different experience. The tunnel of sharks provides the thrills to catch everyone’s attention, the helpful local staff can provide some more scientific information about the sea life on display. There are entertainment shows scheduled through the day with dolphins and (separately) sea lions. Also many schools bring their students in for an entertainment trip.

7. Shopping: One thing that Saudi Arabia and Jeddah isn’t short of besides oil is shopping malls. They are everywhere. The normal, the fancy, the small, the large, the classy, no matter what type of shopping mall you are into they have it. A lot of the smaller shopping malls are regular local ones with clothes shops which are called souqs, tub (the Arab male dress) shops, jewelry, food etc. Famous malls & Souqs include; Red Sea Mall, Al-Salam Mall, Aziz Mall, Mall of Arabia, Faisaliah market, Haraj Souq, Souq shatee', Macrona souq, Bawadi souq & many more. All of these malls have almost all of the popular brands from around the world, including amazing food courts, coffee shops, play areas & rides for kids.
8. Flag Pole: Jeddah Flagpole is located at King Abdullah Square. It is the tallest flagpole in the world since 2014. It was inaugurated on National Day of Saudi Arabia 23 September 2014. The flagpole is 170 meters (560 ft) high, breaking the previous record held by Dushanbe Flagpole in Tajikistan. The flagpole was gifted by the company Abdul Latif Jameel on health recovery of Late King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.

9. Balad: If you want to roam around the part of the city to see how Jeddah used to look and what is ARAB culture, Balad is the place to be. Balad caters people of all socio-economic status by having big malls to the road side shops from cheapest products to very expensive items. Certain museums are around too. There are places to shop, mainly crowded places but with plenty of shopping options like big gold market, currency exchange and abaya shops, dates market, oud & perfume shops and much more. From the tiny old streets to the amazing architecture.
