If you are travelling without Iqama in the Kingdom, you are in a big trouble. If you get caught you will regret it for life.
Iqama is a resident permit for living in Saudi for which you have to keep it with you where ever you go.
They warn two times before imposing the huge fine in the end.
For the first timers, Saudi police will make you spend some time behind the bars and you will only be allowed to call at your home to ask someone to bring your Iqama to the police station and bail you out.
Second time around, you will be jailed again and will be fined 2,000 SR along with a strict warning of deporting from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
God forbid if you violate the rule for the third time sorry to say but no one can help you this time. 3,000 SR will be fined and you also need to call the Kafeel to bring the Iqama with him and if you are already having a bad day prepare yourself to get deported as well!
